East Cambridge will be buzzing this weekend to celebrate the beloved feast of “The Healing Saints” Cosmas and Damian. Be ready to eat and dance your way through the festival from Friday, September 8th to Sunday, September 10th.
Enjoy cooking demonstrations, live music, games, amusement rides, a cannoli eating contest, and a healing service. This year, the festival welcomes iconic musical acts like the Martha Wash, Jimmy Osmond, and The Drifters.

WALKS & TALKS
Start your Saturday morning off with a serene tour through one of Cambridge’s most beautiful places, Mount Auburn Cemetery. This tour will focus on some of the greatest art collectors in the Boston area, their vivid personalities, and the competition between them.

Cambridge is about to become even more colorful and exciting thanks to the 25th Annual Cambridge Carnival happening this Sunday from 12-7p.
Heralded as a local institution, The Cambridge Carnival starts off with a grand costume parade complete with rich rhythmic musicality promoting all types of cultures. You’ll watch revelers masquerade through the streets in intricate costume, savor international foods and have the unique opportunity to purchase multicultural crafts from around the world.

Mark your calendars for Craft for a Cause on September 15th. You’ll have the opportunity to sample sips from local craft breweries, distilleries, and wine vendors, while you snack on dishes from Central Square restaurants. Plus, there will be live music, live art and cultural programming from local artists.
Want to know the best part of this event, besides the craft brews? The Central Square Business Association will donate 50% of the event revenue after expenses to Food For Free. Cheers!

The 14th Annual RiverSing is one of Cambridge’s most beloved fall traditions and makes welcoming in cooler weather and changing leaves that much more special. The Autumnal Equinox celebration will include a puppet parade and pre-show festivities before you join thousands of other voices in song as you sing goodbye to summer.
