Weekend Guide: March 28- April 1

It's a holiday weekend! Spend it in Cambridge with these events.

Spend the weekend in Cambridge with our top four events, plus an event to add to your calendar.

Fake Science with ImprovBoston | March 29

Catch the ImprovBoston on Thursday at the Museum of Science’s Charles Hayden Planetarium for their hysterical show, Fake Science.  Be prepared to laugh until your stomach hurts as New England’s biggest and oldest comedy theater brings their signature style to a galaxy far away.

Cambridge Winter Farmers Market | March 31

We’re pretty lucky to live in a city where we can find fresh veggies year round - even in the winter months. Stop by the Cambridge Winter Farmers Market to grab fresh vegetables and other culinary goodies for your Passover dinner or Easter brunch.

Not only does the Cambridge Winter Farmers Market have tons of local goodies from all around New England, the market also features music, face painting, and art activities for kids.

See it: 10a-2p

Easter Sunday | April 1

After you’ve hunted for Easter Eggs and searched for signs of Peter Cottontail, you’ll need somewhere to indulge for Easter brunch or dinner.  Cambridge has so many great options for brunch, lunch or dinner (and practically everything in between) that sharing only a couple didn’t seem fair. We’ve gathered a couple of restaurants, we know your little bunnies will love.

Don’t wait until the last minute to make your reservations because these restaurants are sure to fill up fast!

April Fool’s Day | April 1

Looking for a little inspiration for April Fool’s Day?  Look no further than our Insider Post, “Top Five MIT Hacks”  The word “hack” is used a little differently in Cambridge than it is used throughout the rest of the world.  In Cambridge,  the word, ‘hack” does not simply imply a way to make something easier. Instead, it’s a term used to describe an amusing prank. And no, we are not pranking you!

The geniuses over at MIT have a certain knack for hacks (see what we did there?) and we thought it was only appropriate to their clever brains this April Fool’s Day. There are so many hacks in fact that we have an MIT Hacks: Part Two and MIT Hacks: Part Three.
