FILM + FAMILY FUN
Bugs Bunny Film Festival at the Brattle Theatre | February 17-25
Adults and kids alike will love this next event at The Brattle Theatre: The Bugs Bunny Revue. It’s time to feel nostalgic, as The Brattle Theatre will be showing all of your favorite childhood cartoons: from Bugs Bunny to Daffy Duck and Friends, and even the Looney Tunes.
Did you know that this tradition has been alive for the past twenty-two years? The Brattle Theater considers it a special treat for February Vacation Week -- we couldn’t be more grateful for that! Catch the shows all week and even into the weekend.

MUSEUM
Feb Fest at the MIT Museum | February 20-25
School vacation week is finally here, which means you’re probably looking for something fun and educational to do while the kiddos are out of school for an entire week. We suggest gathering up your gang and heading over to the MIT Museum for their annual school vacation week event, Feb Fest. In honor of National Engineer’s Week, the museum will celebrate with tons of hands-on activities, workshops, and special tours.
Because there is so much fun stuff happening at Feb Fest we couldn’t possibly fit it all on our Weekend Guide!

DANCE
Annual Hip-Hop Festival | February 23
If your little wiggle worms love to move and groove, this next event is practically made for them. The hip-hop festival only comes around once a year during school vacation week and is definitely one of the most anticipated and fun events at the Maria L. Baldwin School.
This lively winter break showcase will feature both professional and youth performers from all around Cambridge that will dazzle kids with their moves and maybe even inspire them to participate in the performances themselves.

HISTORY
Longfellow Birthday Celebration | February 25
It’s not every day or every place that you can attend a party honoring poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s birthday! But here in Cambridge, this is just one of many exciting events.
This Saturday, be sure to head over for a free and fun event at Mount Auburn Cemetery. You’ll learn a little bit about Longfellow’s lasting legacy as well as other key literary figures before enjoying cake! After a delicious slice of birthday cake, partygoers will take a quick walk to the Longfellow Lot on Indian Ridge for a wreath-laying ceremony.
Although the event is free (!), registration is required.
