We know this next item isn’t our typical “weekend guide event,” but considering that the best part of any weekend is finding new, delicious places to eat, we thought our latest Insider Post was definitely worth including here.
Introducing: “Rooted in Cambridge: Darwin's Ltd.” In this series, we’ll highlight businesses that started and made their home here in Cambridge. Much like our city, our businesses are exceptionally creative, equally passionate, and have personalities that transcend their address. It’s these “roots” that help make Cambridge such a special place.
To kick off the beginning of our series, we interviewed Steve and Isabel Darwin- the owners of nearly every Cantabrigian’s favorite sandwich and coffee shop- Darwin’s Ltd. We’re answering questions like: “How did Darwin’s Ltd. get their start? Where did the names for those delicious sandwiches come from? and “Are they related to THE Charles Darwin? Click here for all the answers.
Beware: You will get hungry reading this article. Don't worry- there's three Darwin's in Cambridge, which means you're always close to a great sandwich.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS…
