Cambridge Crossing Movie Night | August 30

Celebrate the last (unofficial) weekend of summer watching a movie outside at Cambridge Crossing in East Cambridge.  This free event is perfect for kids of all ages, families, and adults, too! Not only will you be treated to a movie, but you’ll see Jenny the Juggler who will dazzle audiences with her comedy, music, juggling, and magic show.

Movie hint: Grab your favorite fedora and your trusty whip- we have an ark to raid.

20th Annual Labor Day Campfire Festival | August 31 - September 3

Although this next event may have only started out as a way to fill time slots on a historically “bad weekend” it has become a must-see and do tradition during the Labor Day Weekend at Club Passim for 20 years!

Labor Day weekend is much more exciting with Club Passim’s Campfire Festival.  Purchase a weekend or day pass to gain access to seriously talented artists over the course of a very musical 4 days. We promise you won’t be sad about the unofficial end of summer while listening to great music at the Campfire Festival.

Harvard Square Chocolate Tour | September 1

Calling all adventurous chocolate lovers! We’ve got the perfect event for you this Labor Day weekend.  Bring your sweet tooth and your sense of curiosity for a delicious tour of Harvard Square with Off the Beaten Path Food Tours.  On this tour, you’ll learn about Harvard Square, fun facts about chocolate, and stop at 4-6 locations to sample the most delectable chocolate in the square has to offer.

Cambridge Carnival | September 9

You’ll definitely want to mark your calendars for this next event, the Cambridge Carnival! The Cambridge Carnival will take place for the 26th year on September 9th in Kendall Square and is a must-see event.

The Cambridge Carnival is a celebration deeply rooted in African traditions and happens to be one of the largest festivals in Cambridge.

Heralded as a local institution, The Cambridge Carnival starts off with a grand costume parade complete with rich rhythmic musicality promoting all types of cultures.  You’ll watch revelers masquerade through the streets, savor international foods and have the unique opportunity to purchase multicultural crafts from around the world.
