The Cambridge Science Festival takes science and curiosity to a whole new level! The first festival of its kind in the United States aims to celebrate and showcase the science, technology, engineering, art and math in our region. The ten-day event features a wide-array of STEAM related activities, lectures, debates, concerts, plays, and workshops. With over 200 events happening throughout Cambridge, you’re sure to find something that interests everyone.

The title says it all here, folks! Join the MIT List Visual Arts Center for Slow Art Day, an International event that encourages art-lovers and museum-goers to view art slowly. At Slow Art Day, you’ll have the opportunity to view Before Projection: Video Sculpture 1974-1995, their newest exhibition which highlights the intersection of technology and art.

Athletes from all over the world will be participating in the Boston Marathon on Monday, but here in Cambridge, we’ve got another thing on our minds. If running isn’t your thing, but eating is- we’ve got just the event for you.
If you are lucky enough to have the day off from work or happen to be visiting this weekend, we suggest heading over to Harvard Square’s Alden & Harlow for their version of the marathon. From 11a-4p, the restaurant will be offering five versions of their Secret Burger along with a limited menu of small plates and specialty cocktails.

If you are looking for a way to celebrate Patriots' Day in Cambridge, look no further. At 10:15a on Monday morning, head over to the Cambridge Common for the City of Cambridge’s Department of Veterans’ Services annual Patriots' Day Observance. The highlight of the event will be a reenactment of Patriot William Dawes, Jr. historic horseback ride from Boston to Cambridge alerting the colonists of the British threat of 1775.
