Everything you need to know about the Taste of Cambridge

All the details you'll need before you head out to the foodie event of the year

On July 10th, treat your taste buds to an evening of satiating treats from over 70 of Cambridge’s local restaurants. From 5:30 to 8:30p experience some of the most innovative and delectable dishes the city has to offer at the 16th Annual Taste of Cambridge.

When you purchase tickets to this exciting summer festival, you’ll not only be diving into savory foods but you will be supporting local Cambridge non-profits who provide service work for alcohol and drug prevention.

Taste of Cambridge is THE foodie event of the year! Join the sixteen-year tradition on July 10th at Canal Park at CambridgeSide for the most epic dinner party of the year.  You’ll have the opportunity to try dishes from all of your favorite restaurants (and soon to be favorite restaurants) as well as cheese, honey, wine, beer, and specialty cocktails all at one delicious festival.

As much as this event is all about the food scene in Cambridge, this event is far more than a night of basking in heavenly apps and finger food.  Rather, the Taste of Cambridge showcases the positive strides that the community makes toward ending alcohol and drug abuse within the area.

The beneficiaries for this year’s event include the Institute for Health and Recovery, Cambridge Housing and Assistance Fund, CASPAR, Cambridge Camping, Boston Area Rape Crisis Center, On the Rise, Paine Senior Services, Margaret Fuller House and the Loop Lab.

Harvest, Summer Shack, Alden and Harlow, and the Boston Burger Company are just a couple of the restaurants you can expect to see at Taste of Cambridge this year.  See a full list of participating restaurants here.

And If that wasn’t enough, this year the Taste of Cambridge is getting even sweeter with their VIP "Sweet 16" Cruise.  To make your experience even more fabulous than the year before, upgrade your ticket to include a cruise from the Charles Riverboat Company.  Once onboard you’ll sip on cocktails from Bombay Sapphire while taking in the gorgeous views.

The Taste of Cambridge will return for the second year to Canal Park at CambridgeSide in East Cambridge.  CambridgeSide is located five minutes away from the Lechmere T Station. If you prefer to drive, event parking is available at the CambridgeSide garage.

The 16th Annual Taste of Cambridge will take place on July 10th from 5:30-8:30p. In the event of rain, the event will take place at the same time, same place on July 12th.
