Cambridge Sends Its Love
Cambridge landmarks are spreading messages of love as the world fights COVID-19. When you see them lit up this spring, you’re seeing #LoveFromCambridge. Your favorite spots send their love through special light designs and vibrant reds. If you are sick, serving others or feeling isolated, these messages are for you.
While the Museum of Science lights its marble tower a bright red, a pair of red hearts adorn the facade of Hyatt Regency Cambridge, the pyramid-shaped hotel on the Charles. The Kimpton Marlowe Hotel, Sheraton Commander Hotel, 907 Main, DoubleTree Boston Cambridge, Boston Marriott Cambridge and the Royal Sonesta Boston are also lighting the night sky with larger-than-life hearts of hope. They go out to health care workers, to those suddenly unemployed and to everyone who is unwell. #LoveFromCambridge goes out to the lonesome in quarantine as well as establishments staying open to provide essentials.
#LoveFromCambridge efforts come as part of the wider #LoveFromBoston initiative spearheaded by the Greater Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau. The campaign to illuminate local buildings fosters solidarity through the pandemic. Every day the campaign is expanding. Stay tuned for #LoveFromCambridge updates via our Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts. If you want to spread the love, share photos of your own using #LoveFromCambridge and #LoveFromBoston.
Together, in love, we will get to better days.
