MEET TIFFANY

I’m Tiffany Lopinsky, and I run Boston Foodies, a local food blog featuring restaurants and eateries from around the Greater Boston area. As a former Cambridge resident, many of the restaurants in the city have become some of my favorites.

FAVORITE HOLIDAY TRADITION IN CAMBRIDGE

I especially love dining out in Cambridge during the holidays – so many of my favorite eateries put up festive decorations and feature fun holiday-inspired menu items. This season, I’ve loved the mulled cider at Glass House, the peppermint mocha ice cream at Toscanini’s, and the holiday cookies at Area Four’s cafe.

GIVE LOCAL

One of my favorite gifts to give for the holidays is a pair of tickets to one of Formaggio Kitchen’s classes – they offer classes on building the perfect cheese plate, learning how to pair cheese with beer and wine, and other fun and tasty cheese offerings. It's a perfect gift for your favorite foodie or for a couple looking for something fun and unique to do.

BRAYAN MESA
@BrayanMess

MEET BRAYAN

Hi! I’m Brayan, and @brayanmess on Instagram. There, I share photos of my favorite people, food, and places in Boston, Cambridge, New York City, Rome, and more.

FAVORITE HOLIDAY TRADITION IN CAMBRIDGE

My favorite thing to do in Cambridge during the holiday season is to take a stroll through Harvard Square and do some holiday shopping. Afterward, I like to make my way through Harvard Yard and onto Tatte Bakery and Café for a big cup of Belgian hot chocolate to enjoy with loved ones while listening to festive music and watching the snowfall.

SHOP LOCAL

One of my favorite shops during the holiday season is the Goorin Bros Hat Shop in Harvard Square. Stepping into the shop makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. There you’ll find unique hats, which will make the perfect gift for anyone that really loves and appreciates hats with a whole lot of history.

Meet Gabriella

Hi, y'all! I'm Gabi and I'm the founder, editor, and blogger at bygabriella.co, a blog where I aim to spice up your life(style) with easy entertaining tips, cocktail recipes, DIY projects, and more.

FAVORITE HOLIDAY TRADITION IN CAMBRIDGE

With Cambridge being so charming and cozy as it is, it only gets better during the holiday season. I love bundling up and heading to Harvard Square to peruse the bustling shops, admire the holiday decorations, and walk around with an indulgent coffee in hand. I do this at least a few times during the winter months; it's one of my favorite, yet most simplistic, holiday traditions.

FAVORITE LOCAL SHOP

You know those stores where you can always find anything for anyone? Black Ink is it. In need of an artisanal kitchen gadget for the unabashed foodie in your life? You're sure to find it at Black Ink. Looking for the cutest vintage greeting cards to stamp and send via snail mail? You guessed it - Black Ink!

HANS JOHNSON STUDIOS

MEET HANS

Howdy! I'm a videographer and composer at Hans Johnson Studios. I love making cinematic videos featuring the beauty that surrounds us here in Cambridge!

FAVORITE HOLIDAY TRADITION IN CAMBRIDGE

There's nothing like some skating at Kendall Square Community Skating followed by a warm chocolate mocha at my absolute favorite, Bourbon Coffee in Porter Square.

GIVE BACK

Personally, I feel the best gifts are those we give that help our neighbors in need. We have some amazing non-profits right here in Cambridge such as Food For Free and the Harvest Food Pantry. Consider giving donations in the name of family and friends in place of gifts.

LIZ & LAVENDER

MEET LIZ

Hi all!  My name is Liz and I started my Instagram, @lizandlavender, two years ago when I moved to Boston from New Hampshire.  From that, my love for prop styling was sparked and today I am a freelance stylist and photographer for brands wanting to boost their social feeds!  Feel free to check out my work at lizandlavender.com.

FAVORITE HOLIDAY TRADITION IN CAMBRIDGE

During the holiday season, I love warming up at Curio Coffee’s tiny East Cambridge shop.  Their piping hot liege style waffles and cappuccinos are my winter morning ritual.

SHOP LOCAL

This year, my go-to spot for holiday gifts is Niche Boston’s new Inman Square location!  The space is super unique and really different from their cozy South End shop.  In addition to plant friends, they carry locally made ceramics, candles, and cards.

CAMBRIDGE OFFICE FOR TOURISM
@CambridgeUSA
CambridgeUSA.org

MEET US!

Hi! We are the Cambridge Office for Tourism -- we share everything and anything about exploring the unique city of Cambridge, welcome!

FAVORITE HOLIDAY TRADITION IN CAMBRIDGE

Every year, once the holiday season begins, we grab a group of friends and attend the Christmas Revels at Sanders Theatre. The coolest part about The Christmas Revels is their performance changes from year to year, highlighting a culture from around the world. If you want to learn more about the Revels, we've got you covered right here. We always grab dinner in Harvard Square before heading to the gorgeous Sanders Theatre (think a real-life Hogwarts, especially during the holiday season!) -- December wouldn’t feel the same without our traditional evening in Cambridge.

GO-TO SHOP FOR HOLIDAY GIFTS

Our go-to spot for holiday gifts and stocking stuffers is Boutique Fabulous in Inman Square -- a haven of gifts, antiques, and Cambridge swag.  Every time we step foot into Boutique Fabulous, we find something, well, fabulous! It is a perfect one stop shop for anyone on our shopping list (including ourselves!). We're not kidding when we say Boutique Fabulous truly has everything: unique stationary, furniture, cute tote bags, jewelry, vintage clothes, and mugs that will make everyone jealous, plus so much more.
