Zhonghe (Elena) Li is a multi-media artist based in Cambridge, MA. Li's creativity is inspired by her love of nature’s diversity and her concern for the future of the planet. Li’s work is deeply influenced by the Taoist philosophy of being one with nature. She has received an artist grant (2020-2021) from Cambridge Arts as part of the grant program of the Massachusetts Arts Council. The grant will support the project to tell stories of species extinction through watercolors, poetry, video, digital animation, multi-media presentation plus a combination of papercuts. For 2020-2021, she has also received an art grant from Mount Auburn Cemetery on the project "The Art of Living Together," telling the positive story of the vital interconnectedness of art, humanity and nature.
