Sonnabend Lecture with Dr. Angela Davis

On Thursday, May 12, Lesley University will virtually host the bi-annual Sonnabend Lecture via Zoom. This year’s lecture will be delivered by Dr. Angela Davis. Through her activism and scholarship over the last decades, Davis has been deeply involved in the nation’s quest for social justice. Her work as an educator—both at the university level and in the larger public sphere—has always emphasized the importance of building communities of struggle for racial, gender and economic justice. This webinar is free and open to the public. A 30-minute Q&A will follow the 45-minute lecture.
