Muchos Méxicos: Virtual Exhibition Preview and Conversation

Join the Harvard Museums of Science & Culture for a virtual preview and conversation about the Muchos Méxicos exhibition on Wednesday, Sept. 22. Three scholars who contributed to the making of the show will discuss their favorite objects and how they each tell stories of exchange and innovation—as well as loss and perseverance—across time and space. There will be live interpretations in English, Spanish and American Sign Language. Speakers include Davíd Carrasco, Neil L. Rudenstine Professor of the Study of Latin America at Harvard University; Maria Luisa Parra-Velasco, senior preceptor in romance languages and literatures at Harvard University; Octavio Murillo, director of archives at Instituto Nacional de los Pueblos Indígenas (National Institute of Indigenous Peoples) in Mexico; plus onsite guide Andrew Majewski, museum education specialist at the Peabody Museum of Archaeology & Ethnology.
