The most anticipated recording of 2023 in Brazil is the collaboration between GRAMMY winners Luciana Souza and Trio Corrente; see them live at Regattabar on Saturday, Apr. 6. Recorded live in São Paulo during the first few days of this year, "Cometa" features sambas by Dorival Caymmi, Ari Barroso, Jobim, Paulinho da Viola, Djavan, plus four originals, one by each musician. Inspired by Zimbo Trio sessions with Elis Regina, Luciana & Trio combines that undeniable Brazilian swing and heart with virtuosity and talent! Luciana Souza is a GRAMMY-Award winner and one of jazz's leading singers and interpreters. Trio Corrente is comprised of Fabio Torres, Paulo Paulelli, and Mauricio Zottarelli.
