Linoleum Block Printmaking with Nancy Crasco

Join artist, Nancy Crasco, for a two-day workshop exploring linoleum block printing techniques. This class will meet for two consecutive sessions on Tuesdays, March 23 and 30 at The Speedway Gallery. Students will learn to create a print design, transfer the design to the block plus carve and print from a linoleum block. Registration is required. The cost is $130 for CAA Members and $150 for general admission. Registrants are required to bring their own and/or purchase materials for the workshop.

The first session on March 23 will focus on designing, transferring and beginning to carve a block. In the second session on March 30, attendees will proof and print from a block, learn how to sign the block and discuss options available for matting.
