Jill Lepore on “This America: The Case for the Nation”

Lesley University invites the public to a virtual lecture with best-selling author and Harvard professor, Jill Lepore. Lepore will discuss her book, “This America: The Case for the Nation,” in which she maintains that while America has often failed to honor its principles of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” it still holds the promise of achieving these goals. To achieve this promise, she argues, we need leaders whose vision of America is broad and inclusive. A Q&A will follow Lepore's lecture.
