International Women’s Day Celebration

For International Women’s Day on Friday, Mar. 8, the WEST Organization (Women in the Enterprise of Science and Technology) and Kendall Square Orchestra are cohosting a night to remember! It will be filled with networking, a panel discussion comprised of inspirational women in the biotech and music fields plus Kendall Square Orchestra’s performance of compositions from exceptional women in music. The pinnacle of the concert is the world premiere of Francine Trester's "In Her Element," a piece inspired by and dedicated to the women in sciences who changed the world: Lise Meitner, Rosalind Franklin, Patricia Bath and Jocelyn Bell Burnell.
