Ink in Motion

Discover a world of words with Alive Dance Collective's "Ink in Motion" and explore themes in literature, children's books and day to day reading on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30. The Foundry will host Alive Dance Collective’s live performances in their STEAM Set. Tickets can be purchased online, and seating is general admission. Masks are strongly encouraged. The Foundry space is accessible for those who use mobility devices. A livestream will be available for Sunday's show.

The performance will feature music by Ben Cuba, Christian DeKantel and Graham Peck. Local children’s author Toni Buzzeo’s newest release, "Eat Your Superpowers!" inspires the opening choreography. Guest artists detritus dance and Monkeyhouse will each present work inspired by their own relationships with literary ideas. Afterwards, audiences will be invited to engage with the performers through games on Saturday night and literary inspired movement on Sunday afternoon. Toni Buzzeo will offer a book signing on Sunday afternoon (books must be pre-purchased).
