I Heart Science: Tiny Creatures

Break out of the winter doldrums and explore science at home with "I Heart Science: Tiny Creatures" on Saturday, Feb. 13. Examine bacteria, viruses, and other microbial creatures during the second installation of this four part virtual festival presented by the Harvard Museum of Natural History and the Harvard Museums of Science & Culture.

During the live webinar, meet tardigrades, also known as water bears. Watch recorded videos featuring Harvard scientists who study bacterial resistance, ways to test for viruses and how bacteria grow. At home, try your hand at making a water-drop microscope, comparing communities of microbes as well drawing microbes. Links to videos plus activities will be sent to registered participants.
