I Heart Science
Break out of the winter doldrums on Saturday, Feb. 10. Meet amateur and professional scientists who study and collect fossils, mushrooms and meteorites. Talk with experts who build telescopes, analyze earthquakes and grow carnivorous plants. Find bugs or explore in the sand. Design an ecosystem or craft a piece of art from polarized light. Watch a live ice sculpture demonstration in front of the museum. This popular annual event has something for everyone and is appropriate for children and adults of all ages. Regular museum admission rates apply. Free event parking is available at 52 Oxford Street Garage.
