Saturday, Feb. 11, break out of the winter doldrums with Harvard Museum of Natural History and Harvard Museums of Science & Culture. Meet amateur and professional scientists who study and collect mushrooms, shells, insects and minerals. Talk with experts who build telescopes, create chocolate and grow carnivorous plants. Find bugs, explore sand and be creative designing an imaginary insect or other crafts. Watch a live ice sculpture demonstration in front of the museum. Enjoy hot cocoa and chocolate bars available for purchase from Goodnow Farms Chocolate. This popular annual event has something for everyone and is appropriate for children and adults of all ages. This event is free with regular museum admission and free event parking is available at 52 Oxford Street Garage.
