Gallery Talk: Edvard Munch: Technically Speaking

Gallery Talk: Edvard Munch: Technically Speaking

Experience a focused discussion about techniques and materials in a special exhibition Edvard Munch: Technically Speaking (March 7–July 27, 2025), led by a conservator from the Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies. A dynamic collaboration between curatorial and conservation experts, the exhibition offers rare insight into Munch’s innovative techniques and the recurring themes across his paintings, woodcuts, lithographs, etchings, and combination prints.

Please check in with museum staff at the Visitor Services desk in the Calderwood Courtyard to request to join the gallery talk. Space is limited, and talks are available on a first-come, first-served basis; no registration is required. The Harvard Art Museums offer free admission every day, Tuesday through Sunday. Please see the museum visit page to learn about the general policies for visiting the museums.
