
Gallery Talk: Disability and Empathy in Heinrich Hoerle’s The Cripple Portfolio
Wednesday, Nov. 1 join curatorial fellow Peter Murphy in discussing Heinrich Hoerle’s "The Cripple Portfolio," a pivotal print series that depicts World War I veterans living with physical and cognitive disabilities. This gallery talk is part of Harvard Art Museums' New on View series, highlighting recent gallery installations and presenting new insights into recent acquisitions or old favorites. Gallery talks are limited to 18 people and registration is required. Registration opens online at 10am the day of the talk.
