Gallery Talk: Dennis Feldman’s TVs

Learn about photographer Denis Feldman in this gallery talk on Thursday, Nov. 2. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, photographer Dennis traveled to 49 states to document disparate scenes of American life, paying close attention to the television’s pervasiveness in domestic and commercial environments. Curatorial fellow Jackson Davidow considers the Harvard-educated artist’s motivations for the project, as well as the centrality of television in American culture. Gallery talks are limited to 18 people and registration is required. Register online, beginning at 10am the day of the talk.
