Ballard for an in-depth tour of the objects and themes of the exhibition "De los Andes al Caribe: El arte americano desde el imperio español/From the Andes to the Caribbean: American Art from the Spanish Empire," on view until Tuesday, July 30. Ballard will share insights about the ways in which the idea of “America” and the canon of American art are inseparable from the histories of Spanish colonialism across the hemisphere.
