Dance for World Community Festival

In partnership with Cambridge Arts and Massachusetts Peace Action, José Mateo Ballet Theatre presents the 14th Annual Dance for World Community Festival on Saturday, June 8. This free celebration in Harvard Square is open to the public and showcases dance as a powerful force to build community. Festivities will take place at José Mateo Ballet Theatre’s studios and along Massachusetts Avenue, between Bow Street and Putnam Avenue. The festival offers free dance performances and introductory classes in a variety of dance forms from over 60 dance groups, plus the opportunity to connect with local activists. Arts market and food vendors are also present, making this the perfect outing for the whole family!
