Crafts and Craft Cocktails: Suminagashi Marbled Coasters

Grab a drink and make something unique and beautiful at Studio by Garden Streets' class on Tuesday, March 28. This workshop teaches the techniques of suminagashi, Japanese for “floating ink.” Suminagashi is a traditional art form from the 12th century that reveals the mesmerizing, ever-changing nature of water. Create a floating piece of art on the surface of the water and capture the swirling, ever morphing moments on coasters. Take advantage of delicious cocktails offered by Cósmica, while working with ink and water to create gorgeously marbled drink coasters. Materials and one drink are included with registration.
