Celebrating Juneteenth in the Port

Cambridge Plays will honor Juneteenth at Greene-Rose Heritage Park on Saturday, June 18. The afternoon’s festivities begin with a guided yoga class at 12pm. At 1pm, listen to stories centered on the theme of joy in a historic Black church in Cambridgeport. From 2–5pm, browse local vendors at the Black-owned Business Fair.

Cambridge Plays offers free music, dance, yoga and other activities to watch or join in. From April to the end of June, in neighborhoods across Cambridge, enjoy hip-hop, jazz, high-energy bhangra dancing from India or pop-up dance parties that arrive via DJs pedaling a trike music cart. Events are open to all plus fun for all ages and abilities.
