Afterschool Animal Encounters: Pint-Sized Predators

Predators come in all sizes. Imagine being only a few inches long. How do tiny animals get around, hunt for food and keep from being hunted in a huge world? Discover some secrets to survival from the small but mighty animals in the arthropod family. Join human museum staffers Javier and Ryan plus guest scientist Crystal Maier, entomology collections manager at the Museum of Comparative Zoology, in a 45 minute virtual program with live animals and specimens from the museum collections. This event on Tuesday, Sept. 14 will be fun for the whole family so bring questions and a sense of wonder.
