Mount Auburn Cemetery

Mount Auburn Cemetery, designated a National Historic Landmark, is 175 acres, home to over 95,000 monuments, and a Mass Audubon 'Important Birding Site.' Founded on the principle of 'commemorating the dead in a landscape of beauty and tranquility,' Mount Auburn is still an active, non-denominational cemetery.
