Mount Auburn Cemetery

Mount Auburn Cemetery, designated a National Historic Landmark, is 175 acres, home to over 95,000 monuments, and a Mass Audubon "Important Birding Site." Founded on the principle of "commemorating the dead in a landscape of beauty and tranquility," Mount Auburn is still an active, non-denominational cemetery.
