Everything you need to know about the Cambridge Winter Farmers Market
Whether you are visiting or live in Cambridge, the Cambridge Winter Farmers Market is the perfect place to get a taste of the local flavor all winter long. Here’s everything you’ll need to know about the warmest farmers market of the winter:
From jam to veggies to sugary treats, Cambridge residents are invited to warm up this winter at the delicious indoor Cambridge Winters Farmers Market (CWFM).
In case you didn’t know, Cambridge gets a little chilly and snowy during the winter months, but that doesn’t mean we have to say goodbye to farmers markets. Get a taste of the local flavor all season long -- from food to local music and art. Located in the warm gym of Central Square’s Cambridge Community Center, you’ll not only find the freshest veggies, but you’ll also find a wide selection of wine to pair perfectly with whatever you’re whipping up for dinner.
Expect to see some of your favorite (and soon-to-be-favorite) vendors like Baer’s Best Farm, Main Street Cheese, Narragansett Creamery, The Soup Guy, Fully Rooted Juice and many, many more. For a full list, click here!
In addition to delicious treats, visitors will be treated to local live music from the very talented Kali, Jennifer Matthews and James McCarthy. You will also have the opportunity to participate in new arts and crafts activities each week, making CWFM unlike any traditional Farmers Market.
Every week is new and exciting at the CWFM. We suggest adding the LED Bike with the Cambridge Energy Alliance on January 21st to your calendar. To see all of the events happening at the Cambridge Winter Farmers Market, please click here.
CWFM accepts SNAP! $15 of SNAP credits can be used as $30 of market cash. Just head to the manager’s table conveniently located near the music stage to claim your match.
This event is open to the public and guests of all ages are welcome to attend. The Cambridge Winters Farmers Market truly has something for everyone and every taste bud.
Little ones can explore their artistic side with face painting or learn the beautiful details of calligraphy. Visitors can get a taste of where the locals really shop for their local produce: with vibrant colors, healthy snacks and phenomenal veggies aplenty, it’s no wonder CWFM is around year after year, making this a must-do on everyone’s list.
